Thank you for volunteering to teach at BRG! Volunteer teachers are an essential part of BRG, and make our co-op possible. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read the BRG Handbook and agree to fulfill the responsibilities of my volunteer role.
As a volunteer teacher, I agree to:
Arrive on time and be prepared to begin my assigned class or activity as scheduled.
Prepare lesson plans, activities, and materials in advance if needed.
Foster a respectful, welcoming learning environment.
Notify leadership as soon as possible if I am unable to teach.
Make every reasonable effort to secure a replacement teacher and provide them with lesson plans, materials, and instructions when I am unable to teach.
Communicate supply needs to leadership.
Follow all BRG policies, procedures, and safety expectations outlined in the BRG Handbook.
Work cooperatively with parents and leadership to address concerns that arise during class.
I understand that volunteer teachers are essential to the success of BRG. Consistent communication, preparation, and reliability are necessary to provide a positive experience for all participating families. I acknowledge that my volunteer role is a commitment for the entire 2026-2027 school year and agree to communicate promptly with leadership if circumstances arise that may affect my ability to fulfill that commitment so we can work together to find a solution.
